Hire Good, Inc.TM (“We” or “us”) is a web-based service that provides high-school students in Miami-Dade County with local age- and interest-specific volunteer opportunities (“S(s)ervice”) via the website: www.hiregood.org. (“S(s)ite”). Hiregood.org will also offer students the ability to log, verify and record their volunteer service hours. The site contains various internal and external links to applications and web pages.
By using the site, the End User (“You,”community partner organizations, volunteers, volunteer parents and any other site visitors) agree to the terms of use. If you disagree with any of the terms, you should discontinue use of the site. This is your only recourse.
As an End User, you must NOT: • Provide false or inaccurate information • Post any information that is unlawful or pornographic • Utilize the website for any reason other than personal education • Post information that contains unsolicited advertising, SPAM or junk mail • Submit information that contains software viruses or any program, file or code with malicious intent to destroy, change or interrupt the functioning of the site or the computer equipment/software of any other site visitors or users.
Hire Good, Inc.TM is a public charity, offering these services solely for the benefit of high school students, their schools’ administrators and for community service organizations. Hire Good, Inc.TM in no way endorses the organizations included on this website. Since www.hiregood.org provides volunteer opportunities specifically geared to high school students, we have respectfully omitted those organizations that require volunteers to be over the age of 18.
Changes in Terms: Hire Good, Inc.TM reserves the right to change the terms of the agreement at any time. Notice of these modifications will be posted on the website: www.hiregood.org. Again, if you choose not to comply with these changes in the Terms of Use, immediately discontinue use of the site and services.
Termination: Hire Good, Inc.TM will not be held liable for termination of access to www.hiregood.org without advance notice, nor for the deletion of any user content, if we determine that there has been any violation to the letter or spirit of these terms.
Third Party Relationships: Hire Good, Inc.TM carries links to other organizations’ sites as a service to its end users. We are in no way responsible and cannot be held liable for the content of those web sites or for any information or links contained therein, nor do we necessarily endorse these sites, their administrators, or their sponsors.
Website Security: Hire Good, Inc.TM takes every reasonable precaution to secure our website. We have purchased and posted a security certificate. However, since the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be a failsafe means of communication and/or information transmission, we strongly suggest that all users protect their personal information when on the Internet. Hire Good, Inc.TM assumes no responsibility for the security of our website, nor of any other sites or information accessed through our website.
Use of Content: Hire Good’s website contains copyrighted material and content. We adhere to copyright laws as well as to laws governing the use and misuse of intellectual property, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Any use of copyrighted material for commercial or any other purpose not strictly personal is expressly prohibited. Users may in no way copy, distribute or post any copyrighted material, content or proprietary information without specific written consent of the owner.
Further, Hire Good, Inc.TM does not guarantee the veracity of any content on the site and will not be held liable for any losses, damages or claims resulting from inaccurate or false information.
Use of the Site/Services by Minors: Since the Hire Good, Inc.TM website and its services are designed to support high school students, the site will necessarily be used by minors. The authorization of parents or legal guardians to utilize the site and its services is understood; site use constitutes an implicit and explicit agreement on behalf of the minor child to all of the Terms of Use, including, but not limited to the Disclaimer/Hold Harmless Agreement/Waiver of Liability. Hire Good, Inc.TM in no way controls or manages the use of its site or services by minors, nor does Hire Good, Inc.TM bear any responsibility for any Internet product, sites, services or content accessed through www.hiregood.org.
Disclaimer/Hold Harmless Agreement: You specifically agree that, by using the site and services of Hire Good, Inc.TM, you have accepted all terms contained herein, and that your use is entirely at your own risk. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hire Good, Inc.TM, its officers, employees, directors, partners, parents, agents, assigns and consultants from and against any liabilities, claims, losses, damages, fees (including attorney’s fees) resulting from the use of the Hire Good, Inc.TM website or any of the services contained therein or accessed from the site. Furthermore, Hire Good, Inc.TM will in no way be liable to either any volunteer or volunteer organization for any claims, losses, damages or fees (including attorney’s fees) resulting from the volunteer relationship, itself. Hire Good, Inc.TM provides the link between volunteer and volunteer organization ONLY and is released from all liability associated with this relationship.
Privacy Statement: Hire Good, Inc.TM does not share your information in any manner. Your name and e-mail address will be required for online donations only in order to generate the necessary receipt for your tax-deductible donation. This information is for internal purposes only. Site visitation is tracked, but only to measure the site’s efficacy for marketing purposes. However, because of the proliferation of Internet hackers, Hire Good, Inc.TM cannot be held liable for any damages, losses or fees (including attorney’s fees).
Hire Good, Inc.TM does not receive or store any other personal information or financial data. This is entirely managed through our relationship with Paypal. We assume no responsibility for the privacy policies of external sites or volunteer organizations.
